what this is

I have had short hair for a while and think I want to grow it out. However, I can't quite make up my mind. To motivate myself, I am documenting the "growing-out" process by taking one photo a day for at least the next year. At the end of the year I will make a little time-lapse video of it all so you can see the whole creepy process right before your eyes!
